Career

After studying electrical engineering (Dipl.Ing.), specializing in computer technology, I started my career with

Hewlett-Packard in Böblingen in 1984.

Silicon Valley Icon

In 19 years at Hewlett-Packard, I was assigned

in various functions in consulting and sales as well as at different locations including California/USA, a.o. to build up and manage successful sales organizations. This includes direct sales with the support of global companies as well as indirect sales via system integrators, wholesalers and retailers.

Start Up

In 2007 I joined the small team of  e-shelter services

(a real estate developer and operator of data centers), addressed key customers and built up the partner distribution organization. This partner network has been a major contributor to e-shelter's rapid growth from the start. In 2015 e-helter, with meanwhile around 400 employees, was taken over by the Japanese NTT Corporation. I accompanied the integration for another 4 years and left e-shelter / NTT in mid-2019.
